Deborah McBride

As a registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT#112456) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC#6161), Deborah is a RN, with 14 years of medicine experience.

She is passionate about helping others understand how emotional and physical health are woven together, each affecting the other in powerful ways. Many of her patients over the years have shared their stories of medical issues, many being heart patients, and their mental health struggles of depression and anxiety.

Realizing the great need for effective psychological services and the importance of holistic care, dealing with medical and mental health, she felt called to become a therapist. The desire to offer a more holistic approach for those who struggle with possible cardiac issues motivated me to complete a Master’s degree in Counseling.

Together, she will explore any psychological roadblocks that are getting in the way of you feeling your best. She uses evidenced-based counseling modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Techniques, Emotional Focused and Compassion Therapies to create a personalized treatment plan customized for your specific needs.

Tracy Mason, NP

Upon graduating with a Bachelors in Nursing, Tracy began working as a Registered Nurse in an intensive care unit where she witnessed firsthand the gap between medical and psychiatric care, and how the mind/body connection is often ignored.

These gaps in care encouraged her to pursue education further and obtain a Masters of Science in Nursing and become board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental
Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

As a PMHNP, Tracy specializes in holistic treatment of adolescents, adults, and geriatric individuals with depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, and attention disorders.

Along with staying up to date with the most current practices, Tracy is also a strong advocate for empowering nurses and she fiercely believes that nurses should play a pivotal role in shaping modern health care.

She believes in creating individualized plans of care that value client’s involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidenced-based practice. Her goal is for her clients to feel empowered to treat their illness though supportive education in a stigma free environment.

Angelica Thomas

Angelica received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology.

Her experience includes working in community mental health and working with individuals and couples. She has worked with a diverse population of clients of all ages. She also utilizes an integrative approach combining cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and humanistic modalities.

Angelica believes the therapeutic process guides clients to increased self-awareness and decreased symptoms. Additionally, she is EMDR trained (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

Her intention is to help patients heal their relationships and understand the connection between psychological and physical impact. The core of her work is to help patients gain self-insight and awareness, operate from the best in themselves, and improve their relationships with others. She believes the therapeutic relationship is essential to the treatment and strives to honor her patient’s identities and assist them in exploring intersectionality.

Dr. Ivy Kensinger

Dr. Kesinger is a Psychological Assistant under the supervision of Dr. M. Natasha Kordus (PSY18501).

She earned my doctorate in clinical psychology and received clinical training in both therapy and psychological testing, working primarily with adults and adolescents.

Additionally, she has focused experience in chronic pain, chronic illness, grief and loss, trauma, and alternative relationship styles. Her theoretical orientation and approach to therapy is Existential-Integrationist and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which means that she look at you as a unique individual with personal life experiences, how these relate to universal human experiences, and tailors her therapeutic approach to fit you, your strengths, and your needs.

She believes that Therapy is a process where you will work together to bring about meaningful improvements in your life. You are the expert on yourself, and she looks forward to learning about the unique factors that make you who you are and working with you to make positive change.
